About

Mark Anthony Llego

I am Mark Anthony Llego, a freelance software developer with more than eight years of experience in developing robust full-stack applications. My career began by working remotely for an Israeli startup, contributing to the development of a new mobile app and backend services. This experience led me to pursue freelancing full-time.

In web development, I specialize in using modern frameworks such as React, NextJS, and Django to create high-performance, scalable web applications. I design seamless user interfaces with TailwindCSS and other front-end tools. For the back-end, I develop REST APIs and work with databases including MongoDB and PostgreSQL.

My expertise extends beyond web development to machine learning, data science, and DevOps. I use tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS to build cloud-based solutions. I adhere to best practices such as CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and log aggregation to ensure reliable operation of production systems.

As someone who is always eager to learn, I keep up-to-date with the latest technologies through continuous education. I am constantly looking to enhance my skills and embrace new challenges. My quick adaptability to new languages and frameworks makes me a versatile engineer and effective problem solver.

I also spend a significant amount of time on Twitter for personal use. I use it to stay informed with the latest news and to connect with individuals and organizations I follow. My goal is not to gather a large following, but to engage in meaningful conversations and exchange ideas and information.

Beyond Twitter, I am passionate about expanding my knowledge through various channels. I enjoy watching documentaries and science videos on YouTube and Netflix; they are both entertaining and informative. I often read Reddit threads, participating in discussions and connecting with different communities. Also, I read and discuss many topics on LessWrong. I talk about cognitive biases and philosophy to psychology, economics, rationality, and artificial intelligence. Reading LessWrong fits well with my job and personal interests. It helps me keep an open mind.

For leisure, I have a deep appreciation for the gaming world. Since 2004, I have been an avid player of Ragnarok Online, and I particularly enjoy the mobile adaptation, Ragnarok Mobile: Eternal Love. I delight in embarking on virtual quests and interacting with other players within this expansive gaming universe.

In my spare time, I manage over 30 WordPress blogs. In these online spaces, I write anonymously or under pseudonyms, covering a wide range of topics that capture my interest. This allows me to express different viewpoints and engage with readers freely, without the restrictions of a personal brand. Blogging serves as a creative outlet that hones my content creation and writing skills.
