Our Dearest Desmond,
Hello, big boy! You’re six now! Time flies like a Minecraft chicken, doesn’t it? We’re so proud of you. You’re growing up strong and smart. Your smile lights up our home like Redstone lamps.
You’re starting Grade 1 soon. Exciting, right? New school. New friends. New adventures. It’s okay to feel a bit scared. That’s normal. Remember, Mama and Papa are here for you. Always.
We love watching you play your games. Minecraft. Roblox. Racing cars. They’re fun, aren’t they? But remember, there’s a whole world to explore outside too. Like your own real-life Google Maps adventure!
Speaking of Google Maps, you’re quite the expert! Your love for Street View amazes us. Maybe you’ll make maps one day. Or drive a monster truck! Wouldn’t that be cool?
We know you love watching YouTube. Those short videos are fun. But remember to take breaks. Your eyes need rest too. Like when you pause a game.
Sometimes, we can’t buy every toy or game you want. You understand so well. Your patience makes us proud. It’s a superpower, you know?
We bet you miss your school service. The kind driver and his wife, the helpful assistant. They’re so special. They took such good care of you and Argi. Always keeping you safe. Making you laugh. We’re very thankful for them. They’re like family, aren’t they?
And your teachers! Your classroom teacher and assistant were wonderful. They helped you learn so much. Remember the special presentation they made? And that beautiful song they dedicated to you and your classmates? “Never Grow Up” by Taylor Swift. It was such a sweet moment.
The song talks about cherishing childhood. About the joy of being little. It reminds us to enjoy every moment with you. To treasure your laughter, your curiosity, your innocence.
We know you’ll grow up. That’s part of life’s adventure. But like the song says, we want to remember everything. Your smile when you learn something new. The way you dance in your pajamas before school. The sound of your footsteps running to greet us.
Soon, you’ll have new teachers. New friends too. We can’t wait to hear all about them! But we’ll always cherish the memories from your kindergarten days. They’re precious, just like you.
Remember Tita Gladilyn and Tito Junnel? They miss you so much. They took such good care of you when you were little. Your big heart has room for so many people who love you. We’re lucky to have them in our lives, aren’t we?
Now, about Argi. We know you two fight sometimes. But she loves you very much. Be kind to each other. Siblings are like co-op partners in a game. You’re stronger together.
Here are some fun ideas for your Grade 1 adventure:
-
Be kind. Share your toys. Help others. Kindness is like a cheat code for making friends.
-
Try new things. It’s okay if you don’t get it right the first time. Keep trying. Like when you’re building in Minecraft.
-
Use your words. If you’re happy, say it. If you’re sad, say it too. Talking about feelings helps a lot.
-
Listen to your teachers. They have lots to teach you. Learning is like unlocking new levels in life.
-
Make friends. Play nice. Take turns. Say sorry if you make mistakes. Good friends are like rare items in a game. Keep them close.
-
Stay healthy. It’s your very own superpower! Eat your veggies. They’re like power-ups for your body.
Remember, Desmond, you are special. You are loved. You are brave. You can do amazing things. We believe in you. Always.
If you need a hug, come to Mama and Papa. If you have questions, ask us. We’re here for you. Every step of the way.
Enjoy Grade 1, our little Minecraft master. Learn lots. Play hard. Laugh often. Make us proud.
We love you more than all the blocks in Minecraft!
